Ok, we were celebrating last night, so I didn't post, but... after bathtime last night, MAKAYLA POOPED IN THE POTTY! Twice (once on mommy's potty, and later, on her potty)!!! Yes, I was very surprised, and very excited (so was Makayla, she was jumping up and down). I'm sure it was just a fluke, but it was still very exciting. Here is her eating a cookie for a reward. :)

Ok, I've been putting off doing a LOT of things around my house over the past couple of months. And I just decided to do them all today. I've been working straight since about 8:30 this morning and I've got SO much done. I just wanted to brag on myself because I haven't felt this good for getting this much done in a long time. And it helps when the girls take 2 hour naps!!! :) And... HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIMEE!!! She's 24 on the 24th, special day!

Yesterday, I picked up Eric Baker, while his momma, Jamie was being induced (little Andrew was born yesterday at 11:30- 6lbs, 1 oz.!). He and Makayla had SO much fun playing in the water- first at my mom's (Grammy's), and then at the Coppell Aquatic center. They both LOVED the water, and had so much fun chasing each other around the backyard. After their naps, they were watching Veggie Tales on Grammy's couch, and I thought it was really funny that they were all spread out- a space between all of them, like they were afraid of cooties. :) Makayla loved having someone closer to her age to run around with, but I felt bad that Brynley was left out. I guess I don't have that long to wait before the girls are both running around. P.S. 3 posts in one day- don't expect that every day. :)

Brynley is starting to walk with a walker and this morning, Makayla was helping her turn, and gently pushing her along. It was one of the cutest things ever! I'm amazed every day at what a sweet little person she is turning in to. Now, if only Brynley can learn a little something from her big sis.

Simply amazing... the girls have not had a very good morning, but as soon as Elmo starts his show on Sesame Street, they both immediately stop their whining and crying and start clapping and laughing. What is it about that little red monster that makes kids happy? Well, at least I have 20 minutes of peace... that is, until I rewind the TIVO! :) Haha, j/k.

Aimee and I took our kids to the Galleria, their first real outing all together, on Monday. They loved eating at Which Wich, but probably not as much as Aimee and I. :) The girls played in the play area while Aimee fed Zane and then we went walking- back and forth on all three levels! Zane and Brynley got a little nap in. The girls are really loving being with their cousin, Zane and I'm loving being with my sister and her baby. The coming years are going to be so much fun!
