Jaron's been at camp all week and we're REALLY missing him. :( I'm trying to get some stuff done while he's gone, but I have no motivation. SO, I thought I'd put some pics up and a video, that's all this blog's REALLY for, right? :)

Our power went out for 2 hours last week, so Jeff and Kris came over and we went swimming... Jeff reading to Bryn.

So, Wednesday night the girls got to see their early birthday present from Nana and Aunt Teeney... Here's video and a pic of the final product. Thanks so much, it turned out wonderful!!!

This past week was a pretty big milestone for our kids. They have started to "swim". We haven't done any classes, but they love the water so much that we try to take them as often as we can. We tried body floats that were built into the swim suits, but that didn't instill much confidence as they would flail around and bounce from side to side. Then, after witnessing the phenomenon that is Lainey Dickerson, swimming by herself with only the aid of arm floaties at the age of 1, we decided to give them a try.
And not soon after the 3rd trip to the pool with these "miracle floats", they were sailing around like mermaids.
I don't think I have ever been as proud of them as I have been the past couple of weeks as they have learned how to "let go" of me and venture off into the water by themselves.

Just wanted to share some recent pics with you. We've been having a wonderful, relaxing summer, but its time to get serious because DIVINE CONSIGN is at the end of August and I plan to consign a LOT, so I better get crackin.

July 4th weekend was wonderful- lots of great company and great food. Of course I forgot my camera, but some of these pics are around that time, so it counts right?? Hope everyone had a great 4th. And Happy Birthday momma (yesterday)- I love you you!!! And Happy Anniversary, Brad and Brit (today)!
